2. General information on data processing

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of the GDPR and the BDSG.

3. Hosting

Our website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner operates its servers exclusively in Germany (location: Nuremberg). We have concluded a contract for order processing (AVV) with Hetzner.

4. Artist profiles and user accounts

Within the framework of our SaaS platform, users can create a profile and voluntarily enter personal data, in particular: - First name, surname, stage name, title
- Gender, nationality, date of birth, place of birth
- Short description/biography
- Contact details (first name, surname, organisation, telephone number, email address, address, postcode, city, country, website)

Purpose of processing: Creation of catalogues raisonnés and inventories within the scope of using our platform.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent) – the information is provided voluntarily.
Storage: The data will only be stored for as long as the user account exists or consent has been given.

Visibility: The data is not publicly visible.

5. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communication).
We will not pass on the data without your consent.

6. Newsletter (Brevo)

For sending our newsletter, we use the service Brevo (formerly Sendinblue).

Provider:
Brevo SAS, 55 rue d’Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you provide (in particular your email address and, if applicable, your name) will be transmitted to and stored by Brevo. The data is processed solely for the purpose of sending information about our products, services, and updates.

Newsletter registration is carried out using the double opt-in procedure. You may withdraw your consent at any time, for example by using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter.

Legal basis:
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Brevo processes data exclusively within the European Union. A data processing agreement (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Brevo.

7. Use of Matomo (anonymised tracking)

We use Matomo, an open-source web analytics platform, to evaluate the use of our website.

- Matomo is operated in compliance with data protection regulations using anonymisation.
- No cookies are set that enable the identification of users.
- Your IP address is truncated so that no personal reference can be made.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving our offering).

8. Cookies

Our website only uses cookies that are technically necessary for the operation of the site. No cookies are used for marketing or tracking purposes.

9. Rights of data subjects

You have the right at any time to:

10. Data protection officer

No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is currently no legal obligation to do so.
